I am looking need a tent for 8-10 people to use once or twice a year. Rain and wind are factors where we camp.

I am looking to buy a nice tent that will withstand anything a late spring/early summer storm may throw at us. We stay on a large lake so wind can be a factor. It also has to hold 8-10 men and minimal gear as most gear will be stowed in our vehicles. We’re camp in Pennsylvania if that helps anyone.

Price is a concern but it would be better to buy a quality tent that lasts rather than something that will fail when we need it most. If I could have the best of both worlds that would be ideal.

Please include links to your recommendations if you don’t mind.
Tent sizes are measured by people. I am looking an 8-10 person tent while only 4-5 people will be sleeping in it.

If I know about yahoo answers I have obviously heard of google. But thanks for pointing out the obvious while not really answering my question! =)
To be clear – I am looking for brand names you have tried and like, tent models even better. If you could provide a link to where the tent you like is for sale that’d be awesome.

How to gear up when fly fishing in rain?

Any suggestions on what gear I need to to keep dry and to keep fishing on during rain?

I’m thinking about getting a rainproof jacket but I normally wear a fishing pack on my back which is water resistant but not water proof. So after sometime in the rain it would get pretty wet. The pack is small enough to actually wear inside the back, but I imagine it’ll feel quite awkward.

I already own waders and wading shoes, so I’m not worried about my lower body.

How do you guys go about fishing in the rain? Also, I’m looking to do some backcountrry fishing, so I might be a few miles from my car if it starts raining.

What to bring to Alaska?

I’m going to be doing land management in Alaska this summer.
I’ll be fighting fires, digging holes, and sleeping on the ground after 16 hour work days.

It’s going to be awesome. I’ve never done anything like this before so I want to make sure I bring all of the right stuff.

What’s a good brand of rain gear?
What’s the best insect repellent?

Does anyone know of a durable, small, high quality camera?

All outside tips are welcome, thanks a lot for any information.

rain gear for golf?

ok so i pla high school golf and our season is approaching. i need some raingear like pants and a shirt i already have the rain gloves. what is a good brand for this. any recommendations
